Bio
Alexa is a senior technology and innovation executive with more than two decades of experience at SAP SE, the global leader in enterprise applications and business AI.
At SAP, she played a key role in the company’s transition from on-premise software to cloud, helping define the strategy, structure the transformation, and drive major acquisitions including SuccessFactors and Ariba.
She also built and led SAP.iO, SAP’s global corporate venture and innovation arm. Under her leadership, SAP.iO developed a portfolio of more than 650 startups, including over 125 AI companies, and became a central engine for startup innovation, incubation, investment, business development, and strategy across SAP.
Beyond SAP, Alexa has been active in the European startup ecosystem as Deputy Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of High-Tech Gründerfonds and as co-founder of a non-profit supporting greater diversity in angel investing and startups.
She was named one of “100 Women Moving Germany” by Handelsblatt in 2021 and “Startup Whisperer” by n-tv in 2022.
