Chris is a Venture Partner at Angel Invest and an active angel investor, having personally backed more than 100 technology startups, including Augustus, Jack & Jill and Jeeves. He brings over a decade of experience as an investor, founder and operator across the European startup ecosystem. He co-founded SaaStock, a global community and conference for B2B SaaS founders. His investing experience spans MS&AD Ventures, Web Summit Ventures, JOIN Capital and Techstars, with earlier experience at LinkedIn.
Chris likes to get involved at the earliest stages, helping founders sharpen their story, navigate fundraising and connect with the right people. Years spent building communities and investing across markets have given him an extensive network of founders and investors across Europe and the US. Originally from Dublin, Chris has lived in London, Berlin and Stockholm and now divides his time between Lisbon and Ireland with his partner Kim, daughter Réalta and dog Pearl.
