Bio
Jonathan primarily focuses on investments in industrial AI applications, robotics, and energy. He loves insane founders who want to make a dent in the universe, rebuild rusty infrastructure, and bring rusty workflows into the new age, or build new markets into existence.
Before Angel Invest, Jonathan used to be a founder and an economist. During University, he launched a recycling company in India (and learned from its failure). Then he worked for a think tank out of Princeton University for 3 years, lived in Nairobi, and ran studies in behavioural economics on energy and information systems across Africa. But he fll out of love with academia and decided to come back to startup land. He's now part of the investment team at Angel Invest.
When Jonathan doesn't work, he loves to row, run, or play tennis (if he isn't doing that he's probably vibe coding something or reading some newsletter...or having a pint with some friends).
