Karljo is an operator-turned-investor with more than 15 years of experience building and scaling technology companies from pre-seed to public markets.
His career has been shaped by high-growth environments. As Managing Director at Rocket Internet and Groupon, and later in leadership at Sezzle (NASDAQ: SEZL), he operated internationally at scale — across markets, teams, and capital cycles. As the founder of LocaFox, he experienced firsthand what it means to build from zero to exit.
Over the past decade, Karljo has invested as an angel, and today he serves as a General Partner at Angel Invest. He invests sector-agnostic at pre-seed and seed, backing exceptional founders early and working closely with them to turn early insight into durable competitive advantage.
