Jens is the Founding Partner of Angel Invest. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Techstars, where he launched the German fund that invested in 40 companies that have raised €250m+ in funding, both unicorns Arweave and Preply were in that fund. Before Techstars, Jens was a partner at Forward Labs (now Forward Partners), which he co-founded in 2012. Forward Labs launched a new product per month using lean startup principles. Forward Partners listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2021 and was acquired by Molten Ventures in 2023.
In earlier lives, Jens was a founder and scientist. He lives in Berlin with his wife Iris and their two daughters.
